A three-vehicle collision on the R129 at Thomondstown near Blakes Cross, North Dublin, killed Michael Drew, a man in his 60s from Duleek, Co Meath, and injured a woman who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries shortly before 10am on 31 January 2025. Stuart Geoghegan, a 43-year-old man from Malahide, Co Dublin, was arrested on 20 March 2026 and charged with dangerous driving causing death.
