Megan Gannon, a 32-year-old woman from Suncroft, Kildare, was allegedly in possession of cocaine and cannabis intended for sale or supply, found during a search at her property on 22 May 2021. She was charged under Sections 3 and 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977, and granted bail at Naas District Court in May 2022. On 4 April 2024, she pleaded guilty at Naas District Court, where her solicitor said she had intended to sell the drugs only to friends and family and had since completed a rehabilitation programme. Judge Desmond Zaidan placed her on a 12-month peace bond worth €400.
