  Gardaí were called to Esker End Road, Tullamore, at 7.30pm on 11 January 2022 following a domestic dispute. Maxsims Selickis, a 42-year-old man, was charged with a Section 3 assault and with threatening to kill a woman. The woman alleged she was terrified of Selickis, and the couple's 18-year-old daughter was present at the scene but refused to make a statement. Selickis appeared before Judge Patricia Cronin at district court in April 2022, where he was granted court bail and the case was adjourned to 4 May 2022.
