  On September 12, 2021, a fight between two feuding traveller families broke out in Riverview Estate, Kilmallock, Limerick, lasting about ten minutes and involving roughly 40 to 50 men. The suspect is a man named Martin O'Reilly, and the facts provided do not name a victim. He was convicted of violent disorder in the district court and fined €500 with 90 days to pay.   On Monday 12 May 2025, around noon, an alleged offence of possessing a slash hook took place in Deebert Park, Kilmallock, County Limerick. Martin O'Reilly, a 30-year-old man of Portauns, Kilmallock, was arrested by gardaí on the Tuesday evening and charged with possession of an offensive weapon, namely a slash hook. On Wednesday 14 May 2025 he appeared before Judge Aine Clancy at Limerick District Court, who remanded him in custody until Thursday for a bail application, which the State opposed on 15 May. Reports published on 21 May 2025 say the judge then granted bail on his own bond and an independent surety, with conditions sought by the garda, and the case was adjourned to a future date. Mr O'Reilly denies he is the person in the footage.
