Martin McDonagh, a 34-year-old man from Longford, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of cannabis on 22 October 2021. Drugs worth €1,050 were found at his address at 2 Congress Terrace, Longford. A Section 15 sale and supply charge was withdrawn before the case was heard. At a special sitting of Longford District Court before Judge Vincent Deane, he was fined €400 with six months to pay.
