  Martin Hogan, a 44-year-old man from Nenagh, County Tipperary, was highly intoxicated in the precincts of Nenagh courthouse, where a garda said he was seen falling against a wall. He pleaded to the courthouse offence on March 10, 2023, and also pleaded to threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour at Dromin Road, Nenagh, on July 2, 2022, an incident in which gardaí had been called to a disturbance outside his mother's home. Nenagh District Court ordered a pre-sentencing probation report, which is due for July 14, and he has 13 previous convictions. He could face an 18-month sentence if the cases go back to the circuit court.
