On November 30, 2020, 12 sheets of cladding valued at €254.82 were stolen from Stockhouse Interiors Ltd at Drumrooske, Donegal Town. Mariusz Dziabkowski, a 39-year-old Polish man from Donegal Town, was charged with the theft and with driving without insurance at Drumbeagh, Mountcharles, on March 13, 2021. The cladding was found in his back garden, and he claimed he believed he was permitted to take wood from the premises. At Donegal District Court, Judge Sandra Murphy fined him €100 for the theft and €250 with a four-year driving disqualification for the insurance offence.
