Marius Cornel Micu (32), a man of Caravan 942, St Brigid's Place, Edenderry, was stopped by Garda Fitzpatrick while driving a black BMW Serrano on the Dublin Road, Edenderry, on 6 April 2024. He was arrested and taken to Tullamore Garda Station. His case was heard at Tullamore District Court, and the defence said he did not know he was disqualified because he had not attended court in 2023. Judge Andrews fined him €500 for driving while disqualified and took the other matters into consideration, as reported on 12 May 2024.
