latest first- Court of Appeal upholds costs order in Disclosures Tribunal case Costs (Disclosures Tribunal)
Keith Harrison, a garda, made allegations against An Garda Síochána, the social work system and individual gardaí and social workers at the Disclosures Tribunal, alongside his then partner Marisa Simms. The Tribunal found all of Harrison's allegations to be substantially unfounded and rejected his application for full legal costs. He appealed the costs decision to the High Court and lost, then appealed again to the Court of Appeal. In November 2022, the Court of Appeal dismissed all 34 grounds of appeal and ordered Harrison to pay costs for the Tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal proceedings.
