  • Second bench warrant issued over false alarm at Dublin Airport Offences under the Air Navigation and Transport Act (causing a false alarm; obstructing an authorised officer) · Co. Dublin

Marina Hrabar, a 47-year-old Ukrainian writer and refugee from Kharkiv, allegedly boarded Luxair flight LG4884 to Luxembourg at Dublin Airport on 27 May 2022 without a boarding pass, tail-gating passengers and causing an alarm. She was arrested that day and charged with two offences under the Air Navigation and Transport Act: knowingly causing a false alarm and obstructing an authorised officer. She was granted bail at Dublin District Court on 28 May 2022, with legal aid assigned and her passport ordered to be seized. She failed to appear on 31 May 2022, leading to a first bench warrant, and was found and brought back before the court in August, which re-released her. She failed to appear again on 30 September 2022 for her plea hearing, and Judge John Brennan issued a second bench warrant.
