  Marian Leddy of 8 Victory Court, Longford, who has 97 previous convictions, is accused of three thefts in Longford: deodorant from Dealz on Market Square on 18 June 2024, perfume sets from Boots on 14 November 2024, and running shoes from Elverys in Longford Retail Park on 19 November 2024. She was identified on CCTV in these cases, and was arrested and made admissions. Reported on 25 June 2025, she had pleaded guilty to three theft counts at Longford District Court, where the judge noted a suspended five-month sentence had been triggered and requested a probation report. The latest development is that she was remanded on continuing bail and the case was adjourned to 18 November.
