  A woman claimed that two German Shepherd dogs attacked her while she was walking her own two dogs in Bellingham, Portlaoise, County Laois, on 30 July 2022. Magda Kryzszkowski, 24, of Bellingham, Portlaoise, was charged with having uncontrolled dogs and with having no muzzle, licence and leash for one of the dogs. The case was first heard at Portlaoise District Court and reported on 28 May 2023, where she admitted the dogs were not on a lead but denied the incident happened in an estate. The judge adjourned the case to 24 October for hearing because the facts were disputed.
