latest first- Assault case adjourned at Kilmallock court over missing medical reports Assault · Co. Limerick
Stephen Leamy, 49, of Kilmallock, was charged with assault following an alleged incident on 7 September 2023 in which Luke Staunton sustained a head injury that the judge said appeared to involve more than 10 staples. The case was heard at the Limerick District Court sitting in Kilmallock, where the defence barrister was shown a photo of the injury but no medical report was available. The inspector told the court there was great difficulty obtaining medical reports from hospitals. Judge Patricia Harney adjourned the matter to 19 November for more information to be produced.
