  On 30 March 2021, gardaí searched the home of Louise O'Brien (39) at 18 Glenree, Holycross, County Tipperary, and found cannabis worth €270 and amphetamine worth €94 in a gravy container in the kitchen. O'Brien pleaded guilty at Thurles District Court, reported in April 2024, to possession of a controlled drug for personal use. The court heard she had 12 previous convictions under the Misuse of Drugs Act and none at the time of the offence. The matter was put back to July, when the judge offered a Restorative Justice referral, and the charge will be struck out if she complies.
