  On 13 November 2024 gardaí searched the home of Lee Ronan at 2A New Building Lane, Kilkenny, on foot of a bench warrant and found a quantity of illegal drugs in a bedroom. Ronan was charged with illegal possession of drugs, less than a week after receiving a suspended sentence on a separate matter, and the offence breached that suspension. He pleaded guilty through his solicitor, and Judge Geraldine Carthy convicted him and fined him €200 at Kilkenny District Court. The triggering matter was adjourned to another court date, as reported on 1 October 2025.
