Lee Lewis, a 24-year-old man from Tallaght, Dublin, was charged with possession of cocaine valued at €290 found at Electric Picnic in September 2022. He appeared at Portlaoise District Court in February 2023, where it was noted he had no previous convictions and had been cooperative with gardaí, admitting he supplied the drugs to friends. Judge Andrew Cody noted the court's discretion for first-time offenders found with drugs valued up to €1,500 and said he would consider donations of up to €4,000. The judge struck out the charges after Lewis provided €1,000 to the court poor box.
