Laurence Murphy, a man from Clonminch, Tullamore, pleaded guilty in November 2018 to obtaining up to €250,000 by false pretences when he posed as an agent for Savills Auctioneers and took money from two victims who believed they were buying land in Tullamore and Duleek, Co Meath.
