  Edward Wang, 57, and his wife Kit Lee, 50, of Drogheda, Co Meath, were sent for trial on indictment for theft, fraud and money laundering related to €274,000. The couple appeared at Dublin District Court on 24 March 2026 following an investigation by the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau. Wang is accused of stealing €236,093 from the Revenue Commissioners and €38,250 from the Department of Social Protection, while both face money laundering charges in connection with Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme funds.
