  Kinga Chwalisz, a 37-year-old woman from Donnybrook, Dublin, was charged with four theft offences over three dates in 2022, including the theft of alcohol worth €71.40 from Kernan's Express Spar in New Mills and a household plant from Dunne's Stores in Fort Letterkenny. She appeared at Letterkenny District Court in October 2022 and tendered a guilty plea. The court was told she had difficulty with alcohol in the past and had started drinking again when left to deal with everything on her own. The case was adjourned to January 16, 2023 for sentencing.
