Dessie Dundon, 41, is serving life imprisonment for the murder of a Limerick gangland rival, with Kieran Keane and Owen Treacy listed as victims. Dundon has been in prison since March 2003 and was convicted in December 2003 of attempted murder and twice of false imprisonment. On 14 October 2024, Ms Justice Gearty granted Dundon permission to challenge a parole refusal, in which he claimed the Parole Board relied on an alleged secret dossier from An Garda Síochána without fully informing him. The matter was adjourned to 5 November for mention.
