  • Murder case adjourned in Carrick-on-Suir Fatal assault · Co. Tipperary

    Pavel Javorski, a 47-year-old Czech man, was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at an apartment on O'Callaghan's Lane, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, at approximately 11pm on Saturday 4 October 2025, after suffering stab wounds. A 24-year-old Czech woman, Karolina Kovacova, who was known to the victim, was arrested that night and charged with his murder on 6 October. She appeared before Clonmel District Court on 6 October, made no reply to the charge, and was remanded in custody. On 6 January 2026, Judge John O'Leary adjourned the case to 3 February for service of the Book of Evidence.
