Kamil Bulczak, a 37-year-old Polish man of no fixed abode with 81 previous convictions, was charged after an intoxicated and abusive incident on Main Street on February 21. He had been in custody from April 4. Ten Buzzballs worth €50 were taken without payment from Vaughan's on April 13, and on April 14 a burglary was reported at the Longford Arms Hotel and two males took groceries from Tesco in Longford Shopping Centre. Bulczak pleaded guilty to theft and public order charges, and on June 8, 2026, Longford District Court sentenced him to 5 months for theft and 4 months for a public order matter, to run consecutively, with a further 5-month sentence suspended for 8 months on his own €200 bond and credit for time in custody.

On 13 November 2023 gardaí responded to a call from a man seeking help at Market Square, Longford, and found Kamil Bulczak (34) outside Boyle Sports shop. He said he had taken sugar and was Spiderman, and he was arrested for his own safety and assessed at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar. He was charged with intoxication in a public place and appeared before Longford District Court, which imposed a €100 fine, as reported on 9 and 11 December 2023.

On 9 February 2022, Kamil Bulczak, a 33-year-old man, was spotted placing a bottle of CBD oil priced at almost €20 into his pocket before leaving Lloyd's Pharmacy in Longford. Gardaí were called shortly after 9:30am and CCTV footage of the incident was obtained. Bulczak made written admissions to investigators and the stolen oil was later recovered. He was charged with theft and, at Longford District Court in May 2022, was fined €150 with six months to pay.
