  On 26 September 2022 at Great Water Street, Longford, Jozef Milenky, a man aged 39, was charged with engaging in threatening or abusive behaviour and public intoxication. At an earlier sitting, Judge Bernadette Owens indicated that a charity donation would let him avoid a conviction, but he missed his court appointment and no donation was shown. Judge Owens then imposed a €250 fine for the threatening or abusive behaviour charge. The Longford Leader reported the fine on 20 July 2023, with the article text dated 23 July 2023.

  Jozef Milenky, a 37-year-old man from Longford, was sentenced at Longford District Court in May 2022 for a series of thefts and related offences committed in 2021. He was charged with stealing coinage from a parked van at Geraldine Terrace in February 2021, using a stolen bank card at Aldi and Mr Price, handling stolen property, and failing to appear in court in March 2021. He has 18 previous convictions dating back to 2014. Judge Bernadette Owens handed him a two-month imprisonment suspended for 12 months on a €250 own bond, with €100 directed to the injured party and €150 to Longford Hospice Homecare.
