220kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €4.4 million was seized on 14 November 2025 during a joint operation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue Customs Service in South Dublin and County Kildare. A further 10.5kg of cannabis worth an estimated €210,000 and €10,000 in cash were found in follow-up searches. Four men in their 30s were arrested and detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007. Stephen Allen, 37, Karl Gavigon, 37, and Josh Parkingson, 36, were charged with drug and money laundering offences and remanded in custody at Blanchardstown District Court on 17 November to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Thursday.
