Josh Lynch, 23, of Spa Glen, Mallow, Co Cork, was involved in three separate incidents in Mallow in 2023. The first was on January 21, 2023, outside McDonald's, the second on June 11, 2023, at Island, Burnfort, and the third in August 2023 at Eskimo Pizza. He was charged with two counts of threatening and abusive behaviour, two counts of intoxication in a public place and one count of criminal damage, and his solicitor said he pleaded guilty to all charges. At Mallow District Court, reported on July 18, 2024, he was given suspended prison sentences of two, four and three months, to run consecutively, with probation supervision for one year.
