Josh Killeen, a 19-year-old man, led gardaí on two high-speed pursuits in Dublin, the first beginning just after midnight on 3 November in the Shankill area, where he was driving a stolen Honda Stream. He pleaded guilty to endangerment for that incident and for a second pursuit on 31 January 2025, and to possession of a stolen motorbike, to which he was linked when he was caught standing beside one on 9 March 2025. On 22 April 2026, Judge Orla Crowe at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court imposed consecutive sentences totalling three years with the final 12 months suspended, so he was jailed for two years, and disqualified him from driving for four years.
