Josh Keating, a 22-year-old construction worker with no previous criminal record, was arrested in September 2020 after gardaí found €23,950 in cash and €4,200 worth of cocaine at his address in Lucan, Co Dublin. He told gardaí he had been selling cocaine for the previous 18 months. Keating pleaded guilty to possession for sale or supply of cocaine and possession of the proceeds of crime at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. In February 2023, Judge Martin Nolan sentenced him to two years in prison.
