  Joseph Maloney, a 29-year-old man from Tullamore, pleaded guilty at Tullamore District Court to having a knife at Omiya Bar, using threatening and abusive behaviour at Williams Street, being intoxicated in public, and possessing €100 of cocaine at Tullamore Garda Station, all on 20 May 2022. He had twenty previous convictions including public order offences and cited alcohol addiction and a difficult childhood in mitigation. Judge Andrew Cody adjourned the case to 26 October for a Probation Report.
