    A large gathering took place at a sulky race at Frankfort, Dunkerrin, Offaly on 14 March 2021 during Covid restrictions. John Christopher O'Brien, a 38-year-old man from Mallow, Cork, and Michael Francis O'Brien, a 19-year-old man from Doneraile, Cork, were among four men who appeared before Tullamore District Court. Garda Michael Hennessy gave evidence at the hearing. Both men were fined €150 by Judge Alec Gabbett for breach of public health regulations.
