  Two cars had their windows smashed at Belline Vale, Piltown, Kilkenny between 11pm on a Sunday and 1am on Monday, and Gardaí are investigating and appealing for information to Mooncoin Garda Station. Andrew Cash is charged with entering the home of an 89-year-old man in Glenmore on 19 February 2023 while the man was asleep, and his father John Cash is charged with forging a vehicle registration certificate in Maynooth, Co Kildare, in October 2022. The charges followed a garda operation targeting a criminal gang involved in impersonating gardaí. The pair appeared before Kilkenny District Court on 2 May 2023, where Andrew Cash was remanded in custody to 25 May and John Cash was released on bail with his case adjourned to 22 May for DPP directions.

  Two men entered a house in the Milltown area of Glenmore, South Kilkenny, around midday on 19 February 2023 and stole CCTV cameras. Andrew Cash, in his 50s, and his son John Cash, in his 30s, both from Dublin, were charged with the burglary as part of a Kilkenny-led operation targeting a criminal gang impersonating gardaí. They appeared before Kilkenny District Court on 27 April 2023, where John Cash was released on bail with conditions and Andrew Cash was refused bail and remanded in custody.
