    Joe Bourke (63), of Clonmore, Templemore, Co Tipperary, was arrested after gardaí saw him driving erratically and failing to stop at a stop sign on Church Street, Templemore, and at the junction at The Mall on 5 September 2023. He underwent a breath test at Thurles Garda Station and pleaded guilty at Thurles District Court to drink driving and careless driving. The court imposed a €1,000 fine and two-year driving bans on both charges, to run concurrently, with the bans deferred until 1 July 2024. Tipperary Live first reported the sentence on 28 March 2024, which is the latest development.
