Cases
latest first- Public order case adjourned for Rathmullan ice cream vendors Public order · Co. Donegal
Jim Chambers, 61, of The Glebe, Letterkenny, and Stephen Cole, 39, of Trentabuoy, Drumkeen, who each operate an ice cream van in Rathmullan, Donegal, were charged with public order offences following a series of alleged incidents described as ongoing by Gardaí. No details of the incidents were given at their first court appearance at Falcarragh District Court on 19 February 2022. Defence counsel suggested the cases be adjourned for a year and the men bound to the peace, but Judge Deirdre Gearty said she was unable to do so without having heard evidence. The matter was adjourned to allow the seasonal danger period to come and go.
