Gardaí searched the home of Jason Finn, a 32-year-old man from 912 Cherryville, County Kildare, on 8 May 2021 and found suspected cocaine worth around €47,000 and suspected cannabis worth around €3,000. He was charged with possession of drugs for sale and supply. At Naas District Court in March 2022, a bench warrant was sought after he failed to appear. In October 2023, the book of evidence was served and Judge Desmond Zaidan sent the case forward for trial to Naas Circuit Court.
