    A motorist was detected travelling at 174kph on the M1 motorway at Drumleck, Castlebellingham on 24 July 2019. James McQuade of Camlough was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and charged with the offence. At Dundalk District Court in March 2022, Judge Eirinn McKiernan fined him €300 for a reduced charge of careless driving. He was not disqualified from holding a driving licence.
