  James Bolger, a man aged 52, was found dead at an apartment complex in Cookstown, Tallaght, Dublin 24, on Friday 27 March 2026, at about 1.10pm, and was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman in her 50s was arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, then released without charge on 29 March 2026, with a file being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. A postmortem has been completed, but its results are not being released for operational reasons, and one report says it did not establish a definitive cause of death. Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances of the death, and no charge has been reported as of 30 March 2026.
