latest first- Man sentenced for possession of stolen caravans in Kilkenny Possession of stolen property · Co. Wexford
James Berry, a 22-year-old caravan dealer from New Ross, Wexford, pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of stolen property relating to two caravans stolen in the UK. A search warrant was executed at his home on 18 July 2018, and both caravans had altered VIN numbers. The first caravan had been stolen in October 2013 and was sold to a Cork man for €4,700. In March 2022, Judge Cormac Quinn at Kilkenny Circuit Court sentenced Berry to a suspended prison term, noting he was reckless in paying under the value he should have known as a dealer.
