latest first- Activist trespass at Ardee House pub in Dublin restrained by High Court Trespass · Co. Dublin
Activists calling themselves the Revolutionary Housing League trespassed at the former Ardee Pub at numbers 1 and 2 Chamber Street, Dublin 8, in late May 2026, intending to reopen it as the Anne Devlin Community Centre. The property is owned by Black Sheep Investments Limited, of which Jack Teeling, a man, is a director. The gardaí treated the matter as civil, and on 27 May 2026 the High Court, through Judge Michael Quinn, granted an injunction restraining the unidentified occupants from continuing their trespass and from interfering with the property. The proceedings are set to return to the High Court on 3 June 2026.
