  • Gardaí investigate fatal motorcycle collision at Askeaton, Co. Limerick Death (road traffic incident) · Co. Limerick

    Jack Colling, a man in his late 30s, was killed at the scene when his motorcycle collided with a van on the N69 Coast Road at Askeaton, Co. Limerick, on Saturday 12 March 2022 at around 1:30pm. The van driver, a man in his 50s, was taken to University Hospital Limerick with non-life-threatening injuries. The road was closed for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, and the motorcyclist's body was removed to University Hospital Limerick for a post mortem. Gardaí are investigating the collision and have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage from road users on the Kilcornan side of Askeaton.
