  Illann Power, a 34-year-old man described as a Carlow entrepreneur, is accused of lodging forged affidavits at the central office of the Four Courts in Dublin, with the first allegedly lodged on August 18th, 2025 and a second on November 7th, 2025, as part of a judicial review against State bodies. He was charged with 10 offences, five of forgery and five of deception, and appeared at a late sitting of Dublin District Court on a Friday, as reported on September 26th, 2026. Bail was refused and he was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on October 2nd.

  Illann Power, a 32-year-old company director from Co Carlow, was arrested in 2022 over alleged revenue, forgery and company filing offences in County Dublin. He was first charged with three counts of providing false information under the Companies Act 2014, and was later charged with 84 further counts, including one over an alleged electronic amendment of a High Court order in December 2022 and 82 tax and VAT counts. Judge William Aylmer granted return for trial orders in Dublin District Court, and Power was sent forward to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, where his case is listed on 6 February 2025. As of the 29 November 2024 report, he remains on bail and has told the court that earlier bail conditions were sought with malicious intent.
