On 8 October 2025, Hilary Mahon, a 54-year-old woman from Tullamore, County Offaly, was observed by Garda Connaughton driving a car in a reckless manner, swerving onto the wrong side of the road and throwing fast food rubbish from the vehicle at Whitehall, Puttaghan.
