    On 31 January 2022, Nicky Campion of 75 Newpark Close, Kilkenny, drove at sisters Katie and Helen Meagher while they were out for a walk in Newpark Close, and then came back down the street and tried to drive at them again. Campion was convicted of dangerous driving at Kilkenny District Court after denying the charge. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest for sentencing after he was not in court. He was sentenced to a four-month prison term suspended for 18 months, disqualified from driving for two years, and ordered to have no contact with the sisters.
