Harry Boland, 19, was killed on 18 April 2018 when he was struck by a truck at the junction of Greenfield Park and the Stillorgan Road near RTÉ, Dublin. David Morrissey, 29, of Leixlip, Co Kildare, was charged with driving without due care and attention causing death. A five-day trial at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in May 2022 ended with a 10-to-2 majority guilty verdict. On 26 July 2022, Judge Elma Sheahan imposed a nine-month suspended sentence and a five-year driving disqualification.
