Nestor is charged with producing a hatchet, criminal damage to a block wall and shed door belonging to 46-year-old John O'Donoghue, dangerous driving, and assault causing harm to O'Donoghue, while O'Donoghue faces a cross-charge of assaulting Nestor from September 2022. At Gort District Court on December 2, 2024, Judge Adrian Harris refused Nestor's application to vary his bail conditions to allow him into Gort and adjourned the assault cases to February 2025.
