On 16 January 2025, cocaine with an estimated value of €1,715 was allegedly seized at the home of Gerard Kelly, 33, and Adele McKinley, 32, in Culdaff, Donegal. Both were charged with possession of cocaine for sale or supply and possession of cocaine under the Misuse of Drugs Act. They appeared before Carndonagh District Court, sitting at Buncrana Courthouse, on 18 June 2026, where Judge Emile Daly accepted jurisdiction and the DPP directed the matter could be dealt with summarily if guilty pleas were entered. Disclosure of prosecution evidence was granted, and both defendants were remanded to appear again on 21 July.
