  Fintan Marshall, 37, of Roscrea, Tipperary, was stopped by gardaí at Arthur's Quay, Limerick city, on October 12, 2023, and a schoolbag containing a tick-list of names and illegal drugs was found in his car. He was arrested on suspicion of sale and supply of drugs and later pleaded guilty at Limerick Circuit Court to supply and sale of drugs and possession of drugs. Judge Daly imposed a fully suspended two-year sentence for supply and sale and eight months for possession, giving credit for the early guilty plea. Reports of the sentence were published between March 25 and March 30, 2026, and the sentencing is the latest development.
