Evan Keogh, a 26-year-old man from Clondalkin, Dublin, was sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to two years and nine months in prison for three assaults on his partner between April 2017 and January 2018. The attacks included pulling her down the stairs, bending her ankle, and splitting her lip and biting her finger. The victim, a woman in her 20s, reported the incidents to gardaí, leading to Keogh's arrest and charge. He pleaded guilty to three counts of assault causing harm.
