On 17 December 2025, 58kg of suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €4,060,000 was seized during searches of a business premises in County Kildare and residential addresses in County Wexford as part of Operation TARA. Three people were arrested: two males in their 30s and 40s and a female in her 40s, in relation to facilitating drug trafficking for an organised crime group. The female was released with a file to be prepared for the DPP, while the two males, including man Eugene Breslin, 45, were charged. At Naas District Court on 19 December 2025, Gardaí objected to bail and the judge found the objections well founded, adjourning the matter to 22 April 2026.
