    Euan McGivern, a 21-year-old apprentice electrician from Kilcock, Co Kildare, is accused of being intoxicated and engaging in threatening and abusive behaviour at Cosby Hall, Stradbally, on 30 August 2025. He was arrested at the Electric Picnic and appeared before Portlaoise District Court on 23 October 2025 accused of public order offences. A file is being prepared, and gardaí say further charges may follow, including an alleged assault on a garda during the arrest. Legal aid was granted, and the case was adjourned to Portlaoise District Court on 8 December.
