Ethan Fergus, a 20-year-old man of The Causeway, Maghercar, Bundoran, Co Donegal, is charged with possessing cannabis for sale or supply and with two counts of possession, all said to have occurred at his home on 2 June 2021. In July 2024 at Ballyshannon District Court a book of evidence was served, the DPP consented to his forwarding to Donegal Circuit Court, and he was remanded on continuing bail. On 6 September 2024 he was sent forward on a guilty plea on a €500 bail bond, and the DPP has consented to him being sent forward for sentence to the Donegal Circuit Court sitting in Letterkenny commencing 10 December; no sentence has been reported.
