Esra Uyrun, a 38-year-old woman, was last seen leaving her home in Clondalkin, west Dublin, to buy milk shortly after 7.15am on 23 February 2011. Her silver Renault Twingo was later found parked at the bottom of Bray Head, Co. Wicklow, with her coin purse containing her driving licence and a €50 note in the boot. CCTV footage of the car could not identify the driver, and a review by specialists in London was unsuccessful. The case remains unsolved 14 years later, and in February 2025 her older sister Berna Fidan, 59, who lives in London, pleaded with Gardaí for access to unseen CCTV footage near the home and at the DART crossing in Bray.
